Carton Champions

The Carton Council is composed of four leading carton manufacturers, Elopak, Pactiv Evergreen, SIG and Tetra Pak. Formed in 2009, the Carton Council works to deliver long-term collaborative solutions to divert valuable cartons from landfills. Through a united effort, the Carton Council is committed to building a sustainable infrastructure for carton recycling nationwide and works toward its continual goal of adding access to carton recycling throughout the U.S.

As a program of the Naturally Network nonprofit organization, the Carton Champions is comprised of a group of brands that utilize food and beverage fiber-based cartons.

The Carton Champions group participates in education, advocacy, and potential end-market development that help grow fiber-carton recycling access and awareness. Working together, brands launch communications about carton recycling and the general sustainability of cartons, have the opportunity to provide a voice during legislative efforts, and can assist with potential funding of innovations and infrastructure that better the carton recycling value chain.
